Being a Native American Advocate and being self employed most of my life, I have struggled to maintain self care and my health.  I've had a great life, full of adventures and lessons.  But it's challenging to make sure you care for yourself as much as you do for others. 

When I was in my early 50’s, after my divorce, starting from scratch, I worked long hard construction hours as a flagger and worked my way up to a Traffic Control Supervisor.  I as responsible for the safety of the road construction work zone crews,.
